Apple Automotive COVID-19 Efforts

The impact of COVID-19 has affected business operations globally, and our hearts go out to those who have been affected by the virus. We understand the concerns of our customers, and would like to take this opportunity to share the proactive course of action Apple Automotive is taking to protect our customers, employees and families.

COVID-19 Task Force

Apple Automotive’s parent company, the Stewart Companies, has instituted a task force to focus on sharing updates on Covid-19 news, how to reduce the potential spreading of the virus, and how we are working to keep our operations moving forward. Given the dynamics of this situation, our Covid-19 Task Force continues to review and refine protocols in how we address events as they unfold.

Apple Automotive Facilities

We have been taking, and will continue to take, increased cleaning and sanitizing steps at all of our facilities, using approved disinfectant products. We want to ensure that our visitors and employees are being protected from the spread of germs and have initiated numerous protocols at our facilities, such as:

  • Installed hand-sanitizing stations throughout each facility to allow visitors and personnel to clean their hands more frequently.
  • Increased the frequency in which high-volume, high-touch areas, including paper towel dispensers, vanity tops, counters, and door handles, are cleaned.
  • Required staff to frequently wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Distributed critical information to key staff members and business partners to help prevent communicable sicknesses throughout our operations.
  • Our showroom offices and demo vehicles are disinfected and cleaned throughout the day - these measures include the use of disinfectant cleaning agents and increased frequency.
  • More frequently wipe down the interior of vehicles in the showroom and demos before and after test drives.
  • Customer cars that come in for service will be disinfected before technicians diagnose and repair these vehicles, and once again after the service—before the customer takes delivery.
  • For now, employees may wish to avoid shaking hands.
  • We are following the advice of federal and state agencies, the Chamber of Commerce, plus the health departments at the city, state, and federal levels to make sure we receive the latest updates and protocols.

Office Hours

At this time, all Apple Automotive facilities will maintain normal business hours, and all staff are available to continue providing you with services and assistance. Should that change in the future, we will post updates on our various company websites (all of which are linked at www.appleautomotive.com).
